Hi, I’m Debi and I’m the designer and creator of Powdered and Waisted Corsetry.
I was born in Malaysia and raised in the Mediterranean before eventually settling in the UK.
I have a deep appreciation for the smallest detail as well as the overall effect and gain much inspiration from the natural, mythical, Gothic and fantasy worlds, as well as the fashion world.
In 2011 and 2012 I achieved multiple Distinctions in ‘Creative Techniques in Fashion’ and ‘Creative Corsetry’ at South Nottinghamshire College now Central College, Nottingham.
My desire is always to create unique, beautiful, elegant and timeless designs to encompass and emphasise feminine curves without over constricting them.

My client was awarded Overall Best Dressed Lady at the Oklahoma Derby, USA on 27th September 2015. She wore her Powdered and Waisted corset and bolero created to match her bustle skirt as well as to be worn as stand alone pieces with a more contemporary outfit.
